Book A 35 Revolutionary War Pension Appliction Johnston Co., NC 4 Jun 1847David Avera (71) states James Frost and his large family removed f rom one of upper counties - iron workers. His wife was Isabel. Children were Ezekiel and Jonas (who were older than the deponent); John; James; McCaslin?; Nicholas; Sam; Sally; and Rachel, widow of Reddin Britt and the only one now living, known to this deponent. James live d there until his death some 30 or 40 years ago, and widow Isabella lived in Johnston and probably Stokes where a son lived. James and Isabella came to NC from PA.
