The notes chiefly concern Rawlins-R ollins land records in Monroe County, Indiana. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Roderick Alexander Rawlins migrated with his family to Indiana in 1811. He served in the sta te legislature for Lawrence and Monroe Counties and as County clerk of Monroe County. He migr ated to Illinois in 1823 and to Texas in 1844, where he settled in Dallas County. |
