- Ridley Jones seems to have married Henry Restore Jones of Halifax Co., NC. There has been a tradition that Ridley was a son and married a Kimbell. However, there has never been any documentation nor any apparent basis for this assumption. Ridley is listed in the will o f her father with other daughters (the sex of the children is not stated). Also the names of the children of Henry R. Jones are highly suggestive of a connection with the family of Francis and Mary (Ridley) Jones. Henry R. Jones died testate in Halifax Co., NC in 1801. His will mentions wife Ridley, sons Francis, Willis, Briton, daughters Peggy, Jemimah, Elizabeth Day, and Mary. Ridley Jones died testate in Halifax Co. in 1825.
