- NOTES: 1 NAME Phereba // 2 GIVN Phereba 2 SURN p. 836; #11; age 41; b. TN Fereba was married in Fairfield, Iowa to William Harrison Barger about 1837. He was a native of Indiana. After his death by drowning July 23, 1858 Freba married Rev. John E. Beatty at Sidney, Iowa, Feb. 8th 1862. (spelling from family records) Note from Lyle Rawlins: "As both Fereba and William H. Barger were Endowed on 6 Feb 1856 [1846] in the Nauvoo Temple it is hard to believe they were not sealed at that time."
